| Braveheart This was the first case that Bikers Against Animal Cruelty took under their wings. Braveheart is a very special little ham. He was picked up as a stray off the streets and is currently at the Wallingford Animal Shelter. He hobbles around on 3 legs constantly wagging his tail and loves meeting new people and other animals. He is a gentle soul that has a lot of love to give. We would like to see him comfortable and healthy again before he is adopted out. Once he has his surgery, there is a foster home all set up for him so that he may recover in a warm & safe environment. We will keep you posted on Braveheart's progress as we try to mend this helpless little guy so some lucky family can open their home and hearts to him, because he has many more years in him to give. Update 2/5/08 Braveheart has received all the necessary medical treatment and operations and is now in foster care. These pictures are from when he was picked up from the Veterinary clinic and being brought to his foster mom, his Angel looking out for him. Very Special Thanks go to his foster mom, Nicole, for rallying the fundraising all along to ensure he received the necessary medical procedures for a healthy, quality life! She is taking excellent care of him as he recuperates until he is well enough to be able to be adopted to a good home, if it weren't for her, Braveheart never would have been given his second chance. Thanks Nicole! |
