Responsible Pet Ownership Contest

In recognition of Responsible Pet Ownership Month (February), B.A.A.C. held an essay/photo contest for kids
in grades 1 through 8. The essays were to reflect what being a responsible pet owner meant to them.  We
received many essays from kids throughout Connecticut.  It was a difficult decision for our judges, but the
results are in!  All participants are winners in our eyes, but the essays that rose above the rest are:

1st Place - Gina O.
2nd Place - Mary N.
3rd Place - Vanessa L. & David B.
